It’s the most wonderful time of the year…

It’s that time again…. Time for the annual Christmas list that will make my family stop asking “Crystal, what do you want for Christmas this year?”!
Please stop cheering, it’s nothing impressive.
- Superfeet insoles – the green ones!
- a new running skirt (or 2, or 3…): Love the ones from Running Skirts, but willing to try the ones from Skirt Sports because they’ve got some killer deals and Atalanta has nice stuff as well
- Something to wear on cold outside runs. Windbreaker, cycling jacket, I don’t care as long as it’s not super snug, and not some hideous shade of orange/green/yellow.
- NikeID gift card so that I can make myself some custom sneakers. Because I’m a geek who likes shit like that.
- A cheap-ass MP3 player that I can dump music onto and run with. As much as I’d like a newer Ipod for this, they won’t work with Ubuntu Linux and thus will remain pathetically empty and rot in my desk drawers.
- Socks. I need little ankle socks that fit right and won’t bunch around in my shoes.
- Toys. Duh. What kind of Christmas doesn’t have toys of some sort?
- 0g and 00g jewelry for my ears. Acrylic is bad and makes my ears angry, but they like anything else.
Of course, there’s always the typical Amazon wishlist as well, if DVDs are your gift of choice.

Toys! What kind of toys are you into? Do you collect action figures? I collect The Crow, Watchmen, McFarlane dragons, and anything else that looks cool (like Batman Beyond throwbacks and Resident Evil).
I’m also on the hunt for Final Fantasy 8 figures, since I have a few and never got to complete my collection. (Which reminds me, I better finish my Watchmen collection, lest the same thing happens!)
I love nerdy toys – any science geekery stuff, shit that blinks or beeps or moves around, My Little Ponies…. I did collect McFarlane figures for a while, I’d just grab whatever badass chick was in the series.
Hey Crystal,
Have you tried Songbird? aparently is has ipod syncing for Ubuntu.
Check it out here…

Don.
I did check it out, but alas, no support for the Touch, which is what I have. Apple changed the way computers see the Touch and one of the other newer ones, so managing music on them can only be done with Itunes.
